OUR STORY

Lawrence "Perry" Levet, Jr. died on Sunday, January 26, 2014 after a year-long battle with leukemia. He left behind his three daughters: Gabrielle Leslie, Jeanne Claire, and Madeleine Elise Levet; as well as dozens of family and friends. Just prior to his passing, he spoke with his godmother, Tanya Roccaforte, to express his gratitude for everyone that helped and prayed for him during his illness. He asked her to do the same for other cancer patients, and thus, Perry's Posse was born.

Perry's Posse Inc is a public 501c3 nonprofit organization made up of all volunteers. We give emotional, spiritual and financial assistance to active cancer patients going through treatment.

The difference between our organization and all the others is that this is not a "job" to us...it is our passion. We have all been affected by cancer in many ways. We have all lost loved ones to cancer and some are cancer warriors themselves.  We do not take a salary nor have any paid employees-- we have NO CEO! We are all volunteers. Since 2014, we have raised over $500,000 and have helped close to 700 patients in treatment. All funds we raise go directly to cancer patients to help them get to and from their treatments.
